STIPE'S REPORT RACE 1 (R1014) NEED YOU BADLY 1970 HANDICAP, Restricted Maiden  1200M (lc) Emergency acceptor, GINSENG GONE WEST was withdrawn due to a capacity field. BLACK COFFEE which was down 19kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start. Jockey I Azhar (WELL NATURE) was examined by the Club Medical Officer who passed him fit to ride. WELL NATURE (I Azhar) was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon at the barriers and was passed fit to race. Acting on veterinary advice that KIM FOREVER (App KY Yap) was acting abnormally and was difficult to proceed to the start, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of the gelding at 1:36pm. The gelding will be required to pass a test (starting stall, to be ridden unaided to the start) before being entered to race again. KIM FOREVER was impounded. CAMERO (J Nizam) jumped awkwardly with its head up and was slowly away. WELL NATURE and BLACK COFFEE (J Low) both jumped awkwardly and were slowly away. FACHERO (App H Bukhari) and DAVID DYNASTY (H Barnabas) were both slowly away. Shortly after the start, DIAMONDINDRUFF (S Salee) shifted inwards abruptly, obliging its rider to stop and straighten. Near the 1100M, BLACK COFFEE and MOSCATO (C Goon) were crowded for room between POWER BLAST (S Sani) and FACHERO which shifted inwards. App H Bukhari, in the presence of his Acting Master, Trainer M Sukri, was shown the video of the incident and warned to exercise more care when shifting ground in future. Near the 1000M, BLACK COFFEE steadied when crowded for room between MOSCATO which rolled outwards and FACHERO which rolled inwards. After taking evidence from Jockey K Eirwan and Trainer S Liew, the rider and trainer of LUCK DRAGON respectively, an Inquiry into the riding of LUCK DRAGON will be held at a date to be fixed. A post-race veterinary examination of LUCK DRAGON revealed no obvious abnormality. The gelding was impounded. A post-race veterinary examination of POWER BLAST revealed no obvious abnormality.
