MAIDEN SC (E) 1400M
WARRIOR (App TH Koh) was restless in the barrier. Trainer L Laxon was
advised that a warning has been placed on WARRIOR regarding its barrier
manners and to take steps to improve them or action may be taken in future.
BIG BABA (A Munro) was slow to begin and showed no early pace thereafter.
PRIZE FIGHTER (B Vorster) was slow into stride after jumping away
awkwardly.
WARRIOR, which jumped away awkwardly, was inconvenienced when DADDY
COOL (App WL Tan) shifted inwards and away from CLASSIC THUNDER (V
Sivan).
Near the 700m, DADDY COOL, which was racing greenly, shifted inwards and
became awkwardly placed on the heels of CLASSIC THUNDER for a short
distance.
DOS EQUIS (G Cheyne) had difficulty obtaining a clear run in the early part
of the straight.
LADY EMERALD (Alan Ng) and BIG BABA, which both raced poorly, will each
be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to
being declared to race again.
The Farrier reported that LADY EMERALD and BIG BABA both returned having
cast its near-hind plate and its off-fore plate respectively.
Jockey S Baster, the rider of AYRTON, reported that his horse was not
striding out freely. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no
apparent abnormality. AYRTON, which raced poorly, will be required to pass
a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to
race again.
A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on ALPHA INFINITY (J
Moreira) which revealed no apparent abnormality.
