STIPE'S REPORT RACE 1 (R977) Class 5  1600M (lc) GOOD WINNER which was up 25kgs in body weight and DONT PATRONIZE ME which was up 15kgs in body weight since their last runs, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start. IRON EYES which stood flat-footed and lost considerable ground, will be required to pass a test (starting stall) before being entered to race again. MYTH OPENING (J Shankar) was difficult to be loaded. Trainer S Cook was told that a warning would be placed on MYTH OPENING to improve its barrier manners, failing which action may be taken against the gelding. GLORY KINGDOM (App HS Gill) and MAGIC SMILEY (M Djulkifli) were both slow into stride. Near the 1500M, DONT PATRONIZE ME (App CK Tan) and CRYSTAL SUNRISE (App KY Yap) were hampered when crowded for room by WISHMEWINGS (App I Fadzlei) which laid inwards away from IRON EYES (BN Shahrul). WORLD SUPERMAN (M Helmy) raced wide on the first turn. SIMPLY STUNNING (J Low) raced keenly in the early and middle stages, and laid outwards rounding the home turn. CRYSTAL SUNRISE jumped the crossing at the 1200M. Near the 300M, SIMPLY STUNNING and MYTH OPENING bumped. Jockey M Djulkifli, the rider of MAGIC SMILEY, reported that his horse was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of MAGIC SMILEY revealed no obvious abnormality.
