STIPE'S REPORT RACE 1 [TF947] HELLO TOMORROW EMIRATES STAKES 1400M CLASS 4 DIVISION 2 GRAVLAX (I Azhar) was slow to begin. Approaching the 1000m, GOLDEN HAWKEYE (G Cheyne) checked when racing to the inside of DIAMOND SITARA (I Andy) and SURPRISE SURPRISE (App R Shafiq). An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to be fixed. Near the 300m, FAITHFUL WARRIOR (S Sam) was disappointed for a run between QUITE A MAN (J Powell) and GOLFER (KB Soo), which rolled inwards when giving ground. Shortly after passing the 300m, SURPRISE SURPRISE had difficulty obtaining a clear run and had to be taken outwards to obtain clear running. Passing the 200m, FAITHFUL WARRIOR had to be eased off the heels of QUITE A MAN after being bumped inwards by GOLFER. Jockey M Kellady, the rider of PREDICTABLE, reported that as he was caught wide in the early stages and as no other riders appeared to want to take the lead, in an effort to race closer to the rail, he allowed his mount to stride forward and lead. WARSPIRIT (App WL Tan) was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.
