STIPE'S REPORT RACE 1 [TF937] CLASS 5 POLYTRACK 1000M Trainer HK Tan, when questioned regarding the significant increase in the body weight of HANG TUAH (App M Firdaus), stated that the gelding was having its first start for him. Since transferring to his Stables, the horse had eaten and worked well. He added that HANG TUAH was, in his opinion, fit to start. A Pre-Race veterinary examination passed HANG TUAH fit to race. ZENA (M Airy) was slow to begin and showed no early pace. ZAC STAR DESTROYER (I Santana) raced keenly in the early and middle stages. CARNIVAL STAR (O Bosson) raced wide without cover throughout. Shortly after making the turn into the straight, SURGESS (App T See) was momentarily held up and unable to improve. Approaching the 200m, SINATRA (I Saifudin) had to be eased off the heels of DANNY BOY (E Aslam), which shifted inwards slightly. App P Dellorto will be questioned regarding the run of SAMURAI KID. A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on SAMURAI KID which revealed no apparent abnormality.
