STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 1 (R927) SANDHURST HANDICAP, Class 4 1700M

Near the 1400M, DONTBELATE (K Eirwan) which commenced to over-race, steadied
off the heels of NO COMMENT (J De Souza).

Near the 200M, DAYTONA (J Low) steadied off the heels of SURPRISE STRIKE (I
Azhar) which shifted inwards whilst being ridden with the whip. Jockey I Azhar was
shown the video of the incident and warned to exercise more care when shifting ground
in future. Near the 150M, DAYTONA was taken outwards slightly by SURPRISE
STRIKE which drifted outwards under pressure.

An objection was lodged by Jockey J Low, the rider of DAYTONA, placed fourth,
against SURPRISE STRIKE (I Azhar), placed third, on the grounds of alleged
interference from the 200M to the winning post. After considering the evidence, the
Racing Stewards were of the opinion that the alleged interference had not affected the
result of the race. The objection was overruled, the result stood and Jockey J Lows
deposit was forfeited.

SINFIVE (App HS Gill) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet)
before being entered to race again. A post-race veterinary examination of SINFIVE
revealed no obvious abnormality.
