STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 2 (R882) Class 5 1100m
GERUASIO and BUKIT RAYA which were up 16kgs and 30kgs respectively in body
weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race
and were passed fit to race.
GRIN (Y Aify) and BUKIT RAYA (TM Wan) bumped on jumping.
THARA (M Djulkifli) jumped awkwardly with its head up.
SUCH A GOOD TIME (App KY Yap) and SUPER TORA (App HS Gill) both jumped
awkwardly and were slowly away.
Shortly after the start, GRIN and BUKIT RAYA were crowded for room between
SUMMER PROMISE (C Goon) which rolled outwards and BRAVE COMMANDER (M
Yusri) which rolled inwards.
CRYSTAL SUNRISE (M Helmy) showed no early pace despite being urged along in the
early stages.
SUPER TORA raced wide throughout. GERUASIO (S Salee) raced wide on the first
turn.
Near the 800M, GRIN was hampered when crowded for room when racing behind
BUKIT RAYA and tight on the inside of BRAVE COMMANDER which shifted
inwards, resulting in both GRIN and BRAVE COMMANDER coming together on
numerous occasions. Jockey M Yusri was warned to give more racing room to runners
on his inside in future.
Near the 200M, BRAVE COMMANDER laid inwards, obliging its rider to stop and
straighten.
Near the 100M, THARA which was improving, switched outwards across the heels of
SUPER TORA in order to obtain clear running.
