STIPE'S REPORT RACE 1 [TF843] CLASS 5 1100M YAM CHA (T Affandi) was difficult to be loaded into the barrier. Trainer ZL Mok was advised that a warning has been placed on YAM CHA regarding its barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action may be taken in future. YAM CHA was slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly. SPIDER KING (App R Zawari) jumped away awkwardly. ZENA (M Suhaimi) and BREATHOFSUCCESS (M Airy) bumped on jumping and shortly after, ZENA steadied when crowded to the inside of DECOUPER (A Munro), which shifted inwards. SPIDER KING hung outwards throughout and proved difficult to ride. Approaching the 100m, YAM CHA had to be taken inwards to obtain a clear run. App Zawari, the rider of SPIDER KING, reported that the gelding had returned with its saddle having shifted sideways during the race. This was subsequently confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon. A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on SPIDER KING which revealed no apparent abnormality. SPECIAL SOLDIER (J Moreira) was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.
