STIPE'S REPORT RACE 1 (R822) Class 5  1400M (short course-A) Wuhan Jockey Club Goodwill Cup NEW GREEN WOOD which was up 59 kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start. TUBAY, a course scratching as it sustained tongue laceration, will be required to undergo a veterinary examination before being entered into race again. WELL BEYOND cast its near fore plate behind the barrier, was reshod and passed fit to race. GOLDEN TIMES (Y Aify) shifted in on jumping away resulting in ELEVENTH AVENUE (HS Gill) being checked and loosing ground. ELEVENTH AVENUE raced wide throughout the event. Post-race veterinary examination revealed that ELEVENTH AVENUE returned lame off fore and will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being entered to race again. At the conclusion of an Inquiry, App M Ganeesh, the rider of DREAM ISLAND, in the presence of his Master, Trainer K Hughes, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that at 300M, he permitted DREAM ISLAND to shift in when insufficiently clear, resulting in GOLDEN BALL (K Eirwan) being checked. App M Ganeesh was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) race days with effect from Monday, 18th June and to expire on 23rd June 2012, both days inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal (2.00 pm). A post-race veterinary examination of SINAR CAHAYA revealed no obvious abnormality and the gelding was impounded. The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that LIMS OCEAN returned having cast its near fore plate. The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that JERAM NATURAL returned lame near fore and will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being entered to race again.
