STIPE'S REPORT RACE 1 (R724) Class 5  1100M str SENTOSA, a course scratching as it was found to have a fever, will be required to undergo a veterinary examination before being declared to race again. The Stewards permitted Jockey M Djulkifli to replace Jockey J Low on VISTA as the latter was stood down by the Club Medical Officer. LADY GAGA (App KM Lai) was slowly away DISTANT GLORY (S Sandana) jumped awkwardly. Shortly after the start, CHINA ANGEL (C Goon) steadied off the heels of SAPPHIRE STAR (LL Tai) which jumped awkwardly outwards. Near the 900M, SAPPHIRE STAR steadied off the heels of SHANGHAI SAM (HK Cheng) which shifted outwards across the heels of KELS SECRET (J Chuah). From the 700M to the 600M, SHANGHAI SAM was held up when racing behind KELS SECRET and TRIPLE KWAN (App KK Khoo). Shortly afterwards, SHANGHAI SAM switched outwards across the heels of TRIPLE KWAN in order to obtain clear running. Near the 400M, LIMS QUARTZ (K Eirwan) shifted inwards across the heels of SAPPHIRE STAR in order to obtain clear running. Shortly afterwards near the 350M, LIMS QUARTZ which was improving, switched inwards across the heels of SEAL HOLDER (Y Aify) in order to obtain clear running. Near the 300M, SAPPHIRE STAR steadied off the heels of KELS SECRET which drifted inwards across the heels of TRIPLE KWAN. Near the 200M, CASH MAN (J Nizam) shifted inwards across the heels of TRIPLE KWAN which continued to drift outwards in order to obtain clear running. LADY GAGA had a tendency to lay inwards over the concluding stages of the race. App CK Tan, the rider of DONT PATRONIZE ME, reported that his horse was making respiratory noises. A post-race veterinary examination of DONT PATRONIZE ME revealed no obvious abnormality. Jockey S Sandana, the rider of DISTANT GLORY, reported that his horse was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of DISTANT GLORY revealed no obvious abnormality. Post-race veterinary examinations of VISTA (M Djulkifli), AUSSIE INVADER (A Kumar) and KELS SECRET revealed no obvious abnormality. AUSSIE INVADER which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being entered to race again.
