Shortly after the start, CHAMPAGNE NEEDED (I Andy) steadied when tightened for room between RISING EXPECTATION (A Munro) and SIMPLY THE BEST (J Moreira). Near the 1100m, BE A MAN (App SH Low) got its head up when being eased off the heels of CHAMPAGNE NEEDED, which steadied inwards away from SIMPLY THE BEST.
