App T Rehaizat, the rider of KNIGHT SCORPIO, was fined a sum of S$200 for
negligence in terms of MRA Rule 152(5)(a) in that he was unable to ride at
the declared riding weight.

BENJIS RULE (I Santana) was slow to begin and shortly after, steadied when
CARBON COPY (App TH Koh) shifted outwards.

Approaching the 1300m, RAW COURAGE (YF Leong) steadied when crowded
between BETTER LIFE (A Munro), which laid inwards and CARBON COPY,
which shifted outwards.

Passing the 1300m, BETTER LIFE and CARBON COPY made contact when
CARBON COPY laid outwards.

BETTER LIFE raced wide throughout.

Near the 900m, SARONG (M Suhaimi), which was racing keenly, had to be
eased off the heels of RARE EARTH (S Baster), which shifted inwards. Jockey
Baster was subsequently shown the film of the incident and warned to
exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.

Near the 450m, CANT TOUCH ME (B Vorster) was bumped by FOREIGN
EXCHANGE (J Moreira), which shifted outwards and away from CARBON
COPY in order to improve.

RAW COURAGE had difficulty obtaining a clear run between the 500m and
the 150m.

Over the concluding stages, BENJIS RULE steadied off the heels of SPEEDY
DWARF (I Saifudin), which shifted inwards.

The Farrier reported that RARE EARTH returned having cast its near-fore
plate.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on RARE EARTH which
revealed that the horse returned lame off-fore. RARE EARTH will be required
to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being
declared to race again.

SUNDAY, 11 DECEMBER 2011:

RACE 1 [TF1663]

On Monday, 30 January 2012, Jockey M Ewe, when questioned regarding his
failure to arrive on course to fulfil his engagements at the Singapore Turf
Club Meeting on Sunday, 11 December 2011, advised the Stewards that he
was ill and had made several attempts to contact the Club. He added that he
eventually contacted an Official from the Club but due to a
miscommunication, this information was not passed on to the Stewards. His
explanation was accepted.

FRIDAY, 16 DECEMBER 2011:

RACE 5 [TF1678]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Wednesday, 01 February 2012, Jockey
Alan Ng, the rider of KNIGHT SCORPIO, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless
riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding KNIGHT SCORPIO in
Race 5 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 16 December 2011,
approaching the 1400m, he did permit his mount to shift inwards, when
insufficiently clear of CORSAGE (App R Shafiq), resulting in BOY (J Saimee)
and LOOK AT ME (I Saifudin) being severely crowded and CORSAGE having
to be checked and taken outwards, which in turn resulted in LINDT having to
be severely checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into
account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness
and submissions from Jockey Ng that he has been engaged to ride at the
Singapore Race Meetings on Friday, 03 February 2012 and Sunday,
05 February 2012. The Stewards determined to suspend his licence to ride
in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the commencement of the
suspension was deferred to begin on Monday, 06 February 2012 until
Saturday, 18 February 2012 both dates inclusive (five Race Days). He was
advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Wednesday, 01 February 2012, App WL
Tan, the rider of HIGH TICK, in the presence of his Master, Trainer ZL Mok,
pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in
that whilst riding HIGH TICK in Race 1 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on
Friday, 13 January 2012, passing the 300m, he did direct his mount
outwards, when insufficiently clear of BOOKY BOY (B Vorster), which was
crowded onto HIGH FLY MARCO (App R Zawari) and severely checked. When
deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea
and the degree of interference and carelessness. App Tan was suspended
from riding in races with effect from Wednesday, 28 March 2012 to Saturday,
07 April 2012 both dates inclusive (five Race Days) and was advised of his
Right of Appeal.

This penalty will be served consecutively following the completion of his
current suspension from Saturday, 28 January 2012 to Sunday,
27 March 2012 both dates inclusive (a period of two months).

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Tuesday, 31 January 2012, Jockey S John,
the rider of NO REASON, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under
MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding NO REASON in Race 6 at the
Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 20 January 2012, near the 300m, he
did make insufficient effort to prevent his mount from shifting inwards, when
insufficiently clear of GRAND WOOD PARK (App T Rehaizat), which had to be
checked and lost its rightful running. When deciding on penalty, the
Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea and the degree of
interference and carelessness. Jockey John was suspended from riding in
races with immediate effect from Tuesday, 31 January 2012 to Sunday,
05 February 2012 both dates inclusive (three Race Days) and was advised of
his Right of Appeal.


RACE 6 [TF109]

On Tuesday, 31 January 2012, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the
reasons for FONG SU (B Vorster) having to check when racing between TOM
(J Powell) and NO REASON (S John) approaching the 200m. It was
established that approaching the 200m, FONG SU had to be checked whilst
racing in restricted room between NO REASON, which shifted outwards and
TOM, which shifted inwards and away from WORK AHEAD (M Zaki). In the
circumstances, no blame could be attributed to any rider and as such, no
further action was taken. However, Jockey John was warned and advised
that he must exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.


RACE 10 [TF113]

On Wednesday, 01 February 2012, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into
the reasons for MAGIC GAIA (I Santana) having to check whilst racing to the
inside of SIR FLEETWOOD (J Saimee) approaching the 600m, It was
established that approaching the 600m, SIR FLEETWOOD, which had a
tendency to overrace, was eased off the heels of THE CARDINAL (O Placais).
As a result, MAGIC GAIA, which was following SIR FLEETWOOD, had to be
checked off that gelding's heels. In the circumstances, no blame could be
attributed to any rider and as such, no further action was taken.

FRIDAY, 27 JANUARY 2012:

RACE 7 [TF151]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Wednesday, 01 February 2012, Jockey B
Tai, the rider of SHEN KIM, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding
under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding SHEN KIM in Race 7 at the
Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 27 January 2012, near the 1000m,
he did permit his mount to shift inwards, when insufficiently clear of
REDPACKETDAY (I Santana), which checked severely. When deciding on
penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of
interference and carelessness and submissions from Jockey Tai that he has
been engaged to ride at the Penang Race Meetings on Saturday, 04 February
2012 and Sunday, 05 February 2012. The Stewards determined to suspend
his licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the
commencement of the suspension was deferred to begin on Monday,
06 February 2012 until Friday, 17 February 2012 both dates inclusive (four
Race Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

SUNDAY, 29 JANUARY 2012:

RACE 3 [TF165]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Tuesday, 31 January 2012, Jockey TO
Chang, the rider of SUCCESS WINNIE, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless
riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding SUCCESS WINNIE in
Race 3 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 29 January 2012, near
the 1000m, he did permit his mount to shift inwards, when insufficiently
clear of HOWGOODISTHAT (E Aslam), resulting in that gelding being crowded
in onto ETERNAL WIN (I Saifudin), causing HOWGOODISTHAT to be checked
and ETERNAL WIN to be crowded and lose ground. When deciding on
penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea and the
degree of interference and carelessness. Jockey Chang was suspended from
riding in races with immediate effect from Tuesday, 31 January 2012 to
Sunday, 12 February 2012 both dates inclusive (six Race Days) and was
advised of his Right of Appeal.


RACE 9 [TF171]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Tuesday, 31 January 2012, Jockey TO
Chang, the rider of SPECIAL SOLDIER, was found guilty to a charge of
unnecessary use of the whip under MRA Rule 41(6) in that whilst riding
SPECIAL SOLDIER in Race 9, Class 5, over 1900m, at the Singapore Turf
Club Meeting on Sunday, 29 January 2012, after passing the 200m, he did
use his whip in the vicinity of the gelding's head. When deciding on penalty,
the Stewards took into account his record and the nature of the charge.
Jockey Chang was suspended from riding in races with effect from Monday,
13 February 2012 to Friday, 24 February 2012 both dates inclusive (four
Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.

This penalty will be served consecutively following the completion of his
current suspension for careless riding from Tuesday, 31 January 2012 to
Sunday, 12 February 2012 both dates inclusive (six Race Days).
