STIPE'S REPORT RACE 6 (R1689) JOE CZARINA which was down 17kgs in body weight and TOUCH LUCK which was down 24kgs in body weight since their last runs, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start. The Stewards permitted Jockey K Eirwan to replace Jockey KT Cheng on DARING COMMANDER. The All Clear was delayed to allow the Racing Stewards to review the video footage of ALL RISE at the start in order to determine whether the gelding was given a fair start. After reviewing the video, the Racing Stewards were of the opinion that ALL RISE was deemed a runner and the All Clear was given. Prior to the start being effected, ALL RISE reared up badly causing Jockey SH Lee becoming unbalanced and lost considerable ground. The gelding will be required to pass a test (starting stall) before being entered to race again. SPEEDY WIND jumped awkwardly with its head up. CHASE THE DREAM and GOLDEN PARTNER bumped shortly after the start. Near the 900M, JOE CZARINA, DARING COMMANDER and SPEEDY WIND all came together when racing tight. ALL RISE raced wide on the turn. WISEMAN raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Near the 500M, GOLDEN PARTNER steadied outwards across the heels of SPEEDY WIND. Post-race veterinary examinations of JOE CZARINA and ALL RISE revealed no obvious abnormality. JOE CZARINA was impounded.
