STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 4 (R1377)

SIR ED which was up 15kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the
Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

NEVERANINCH jumped awkwardly with its head up and thereafter raced keenly in
the early stages.

BLUE CENTRE jumped awkwardly with its head up.

Near the 1300M, I NEED YOU SO clipped the heels of PROUD MOMENT and
dipped.

Near the 1000M, THA FILLEE steadied when crowded for room between LUCKY
BOSS which rolled inwards and THE PILOT which rolled outwards.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that I NEED YOU SO returned lame in the
near fore and will be required to pass a test (1000m/vet exam) before being declared
to race again.

PROUD MOMENT which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000m/vet
exam) before being declared to race again.

Post-race veterinary examinations of BLUE CENTRE and SIR ED revealed no
obvious abnormality.

When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance of NEVERANINCH,
Trainer LN Danis explained that his instructions were to sit off the pace and hope that
NEVERANINCH would run home well. Trainer Danis further stated that he took the
blinkers off NEVERANINCH at its last start on the 2nd October 2011 when the same
instructions were given on that occasion. However, Trainer Danis believed that
NEVERANINCH was not suited on a heavy going at its last start in Penang and
believed that NEVERANINCH raced well on a good track today. His explanations
were noted and he was advised about the in-and-out running.
