RACE 9 (R1212)
GOOD GOOD NEWS, a course scratching as it was suffering from a swelling on its off
fore tendon, will be required to undergo a veterinary examination before being
declared to race again.
AGUSAN DEL NORTE which was up 15kgs in body weight since its last run, was
checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
In the early stages of the race, SHINSHIN FUSHIN overraced.
Jockey YF Leong, the rider of WELSH QUEEN, reported that his horse was not striding
out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of WELSH QUEEN revealed no obvious
abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that AGUSAN DEL NORTE returned lame near
fore. AGUSAN DEL NORTE will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being
entered to race again.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that SUNSHINE EXPRESS returned having cast
its near fore plate.
RUMOURS, SUNSHINE EXPRESS and WELSH QUEEN which all raced poorly, will each
be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being entered to race again.
A post-race veterinary examination of RUMOURS revealed no obvious abnormality.
The mare was impounded.

POST RACE URINE: 27TH 28TH AUGUST 2011 SELANGOR AUGUST MEETING

The report dated 8 September 2011 (V11/61.1) from the Chief Analyst of Veterinary
Forensic Laboratory stated that 48 coded urine and 54 sets of coded blood samples
from the above mentioned race meeting were received on 29th August 2011, for
analysis under the MRA Rules and Regulations. No prohibited substances were
detected.
