STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 2 [TF1176]
INITIATION POLYTRACK 1200M

OK OK (V Duric) was restless in the barrier. Trainer M Walker was advised
that a warning has been placed on OK OK regarding its barrier manners and
to take steps to improve them or action may be taken in future.

ABASTOR (M Suhami), which was difficult to be loaded, was then fractious in
the barrier. It was subsequently taken out of the barrier, examined by the
Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and was difficult to load again.
ABASTOR will be required to pass one starting stall test prior to being
declared to race again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

CORONET PEAK (A Munro), which was fractious in the barrier, will be
required to pass one starting stall test prior to being declared to race again in
terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

EATONS GOLD (R Stewart), which was fractious in the barrier, will be
required to pass one starting stall test prior to being declared to race again in
terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

TEMPEST (App J See) jumped inwards at the start crowding OK OK in onto
NEW ERA (App TH Koh), resulting in OK OK and NEW ERA being slow to
begin.

EYE OF THE STORM (O Placais) was difficult to settle in the early stages.

Approaching the 300m, NEW ERA was held up and had to be eased outwards
away from the heels of EYE OF THE STORM.

Near the 250m, Jockey J Saimee, the rider of COOL LUKE, dropped his whip.
He was subsequently warned that a repetition of dropping his whip may lead
to a penalty being imposed in future.

EATONS GOLD hung outwards over the final 200m.

Jockey Stewart, the rider of EATONS GOLD, reported that the gelding had
returned with its saddle having shifted back during the running.

Jockey Duric, when questioned regarding the run of OK OK, stated that the
gelding was hampered on jumping and thereafter, raced greenly and hung
outwards from the 800m. He further stated that in his opinion, OK OK had
returned not striding out freely. His explanation was noted. OK OK was
impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary
Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.
