STIPE'S REPORT RACE 6 [TF1100] CLASS 5 1200M DIVISION 2 Due to adverse weather conditions prior to Race 5, this race was put back fifty minutes and rescheduled to start at 1615Hrs. Prior to the running of Race 6, Trainer S Lam advised the Stewards that his instructions to App A Feiruz, the rider of HANGOVER, if circumstances permit, to ride positive forward and get a better position. SKY FORTUNE (I Saifudin) lost ground after beginning very awkwardly, shifted outwards abruptly and showed no early pace. MAX RESOURCE (V Sivan) and SUPER STAR (YF Leong) bumped on jumping. Passing the 1200m, HANGOVER commenced to overrace and got its head up on a couple of occasions. Approaching the 300m, KUKAI (O Placais) was bumped when NINTH AVENUE (S John) shifted outwards to improve. STEEL CUT (B Vorster) had difficulty obtaining a clear run over the final 200m. Jockey Leong, the rider of SUPER STAR, reported that his horse was not striding out freely. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
