STIPE'S REPORT RACE 7 (R920) SAYAPRAYERFORME which was down 17kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start. JERAM HAPPINESS jumped away awkwardly and lost ground as a consequence. App M Ganeesh, the rider of JERAM HAPPINESS was notified in the presence of his Master Trainer Mrs. K Hughes that he must give sufficient rein to his mounts on jumping away to ensure that his mounts have every chance to jump away with the field. Mrs. K Hughes, the Trainer of JERAM HAPPINESS was notified by the Stewards that in future, she must engage a senior rider to ride JERAM HAPPINESS. Near the 800M, DRIVELIKETIGER which broke down and was pulled out of the race, had fractured its off fore sesamoid bone and was humanely euthanized. Jockey J De Souza was exempted from weighing in. A post-mortem will be carried out. Near the 300M, M Ganeesh, the rider of JERAM HAPPINESS dropped his near side rein before re-gaining it near the 200M. A post-race veterinary examination of SURE WE CAN revealed that the gelding returned with severe respiratory distress and as such, it would be required to pass a test (1000m/vet) after one month embargo.
