RACE 6 [TF874]
INITIATION 1200M

Acting on veterinary advice that BIG FELLA (D Beasley) was found to be lame
off-fore, the Race Meeting Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 2019Hrs. In
terms of MRA Regulation 24.2, it must be presented to an Official Veterinary
Surgeon prior to being declared to race again.

EATONS GOLD (B Vorster) was restless in the barrier. Trainer M Walker was
advised that a warning has been placed on EATONS GOLD regarding its
barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action may be taken in
future.

NO RESPITE (J Powell) and COOL COMMENT (S Anandan) bumped on
jumping.

Near the 900m, COOL COMMENT, which was racing keenly, steadied after
racing up on the heels of DADDY COOL (M Kellady).

Near the 700m, ENZO (O Chavez) steadied and lost ground whilst racing to
the inside of DADDY COOL, which rolled inwards whilst racing greenly.

Making the turn into the straight, NO RESPITE and SACRED EMBLEM (R
Stewart) bumped.

EATONS GOLD raced greenly in the early part of the straight.

Jockey S Cormack, when questioned regarding the performance of SEAL
HOLDER, stated that his horse travelled well in the early and middle stages
but compounded badly from the 400m. He added that he became concerned
with the mares actions and for this reason, did not pressure it over the
concluding stages. His explanation was noted. A subsequent veterinary
examination was requested on SEAL HOLDER which revealed no apparent
abnormality. SEAL HOLDER, which raced poorly, will be required to pass a
1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race
again.

SACRED EMBLEM was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical
examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.
