RACE 3 [TF838]
CLASS 4 1600M
DIVISION 2

WEIGHT IN GOLD (S Sam) began awkwardly, shifted outwards and bumped
READY TO STRIKE (J Moreira).

Near the 1400m, LOCKDOWN (B Vorster) eased when racing tight between
BABA GIFT (G Boss) and SCHMEICHEL (J Powell).

Approaching the 1200m, WORLD FAMOUSMAN (D Beasley) commenced to
overrace and became awkwardly placed on the heels of READY TO STRIKE
for some distance.

QUEEN KELL (O Chavez) raced wide throughout.

ZAC GENERATION (I Saifudin) raced wide from the 800m.

READY TO STRIKE had difficulty obtaining a clear run in the straight.

SCHMEICHEL and MITRE PEAK (O Placais) both raced tight over the
concluding stages.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on QUEEN KELL which
revealed no apparent abnormality.
