STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 9 [TF725]
CLASS 3 1400M

Passing the 1000m, SHINKANSEN (M Zaki), which was racing keenly,
steadied away from the heels of HOPKINS (R Stewart), shifted outwards and
hampered ALWAYS HAPPY (B Vorster).

HOWGOODISTHAT (O Chavez) and ALWAYS HAPPY both raced wide
throughout.

Passing the 300m, SOLID WOOD (J Powell) steadied when crowded between
SHINKANSEN, which shifted inwards slightly and SHAOLIN SOLDIER (G
Boss), which shifted outwards to improve.

Passing the 400m, WALLINGER (App R Shafiq) and ALWAYS HAPPY were
both hampered when BEST BID (J Moreira) shifted outwards to improve.

Near the 200m, Jockey S John, the rider of ESTEEM POWER, dropped his
whip. He was subsequently warned that a repetition of dropping his whip
may lead to a penalty being imposed in future.

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that SHINKANSEN had returned with the
saddle having slipped forward during the running of the race.

SOLID WOOD was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical
examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.
