RACE 8 [TF695]
SINGAPORE AIRLINES SAO PAULO STAKES
OPEN CLASS SC (A) 1600M

Shortly after the start, LOCUS STANDI (S John) and PARFUMIER (D Beasley)
were both crowded between MAURICE UTRILLO (B Vorster) and GOLDEN
NUMBER (J Saimee), which shifted inwards.

MR RAFFLES (G Boss) proved difficult to settle in the early and middle
stages.

From the 400m until the 200m, PARFUMIER had difficulty obtaining a clear
run.

Shortly after passing the 100m, THUNDERING JET (F Coetzee) and GOLDEN
NUMBER bumped.

Over the concluding stages, KING FAALCON (App S Noh) mis-strode,
resulting in its rider easing his mount down. A subsequent veterinary
examination was requested on KING FAALCON which revealed no apparent
abnormality. KING FAALCON, which raced poorly, will be required to pass a
1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race
again.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on MR RAFFLES which
revealed no apparent abnormality.

INTERCEPT (J Moreira) was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical
examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.
