STIPE'S REPORT RACE 4 [TF554] INITIATION-1 SC (D) 1400M INIESTA (App J See) began awkwardly and lost ground. TANGIBLE ASSETS (O Placais) was slightly slow to begin and steadied shortly after away from the heels of STORMING HAWK (J Powell), which was taken inwards by ANAK KROKOP (I Saifudin). HANGOVER (E Aslam) proved difficult to settle in the early and middle stages. GUERRERO (J Saimee) and ANAK KROKOP both raced wide without cover throughout. Passing the 700m, INIESTA lost ground when steadied between BORN TO FLY (S John), which laid outwards and STORMING HAWK, which shifted inwards after being bumped on the hindquarters by INIESTA. For a short distance passing the 600m, WHOOSHKA (D Beasley) was held up and unable to improve when racing behind BORN TO FLY and to the inside of STORMING HAWK. From the 500m until passing the 300m, ASANTI (V Duric) had difficulty obtaining a clear run. TANGIBLE ASSETS laid inwards under pressure over the concluding stages. Over the concluding stages, BORN TO FLY was held up and unable to improve whilst racing behind ASANTI. Jockey S John, the rider of BORN TO FLY, reported that his horse was not striding out freely. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
