RACE 9 [TF548]
OPEN BENCHMARK 89 SC (C) 1400M

WAIPAPA (J Moreira) and FLYING WEST (App S Noh) bumped on jumping.

APACHE CROWN (M Kellady) proved difficult to settle in the early and middle
stages.

NOBLE MANOR (J Saimee) raced wide without cover from the 900m.

MAURICE UTRILLO (B Vorster) was held up and unable to improve between
the 400m and 200m.

OVER THE RAINBOW (KB Soo) was momentarily held up near the 300m.

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that WAIPAPA bled. In terms of MRA Rule
92(3), it will not be permitted to canter or gallop on the main training tracks
of any racecourse for a period of two months, and may not start in any race
for a period of three months, and then only after having satisfactorily passed
a bleeders test.

Jockey Saimee, the rider of NOBLE MANOR, reported that his horse was not
striding out freely. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no
apparent abnormality.

FLYING WEST and APACHE CROWN were both impounded for routine
veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no
apparent abnormality.
