Mok Zhan Lun is the first graduate of the Singapore Turf Club-launched Singapore Training Academy for Racing (STAR) programme to obtain his trainer’s licence. The former foreign exchange banker was trained in Australia at the now-defunct Australian Racing Institute in Queensland, before coming back to Singapore where he joined the stable of Stephen Gray and Susumu Nigishi from 2004 to 2009.
