STAR introduces to the public the racing industry in Singapore. Various courses are available for the positions of Assistant Trainer, Track Rider/Apprentice Jockey, Farrier and Stable Groom.

 

Training is conducted at the Singapore Racecourse and is the STAR’s mission that every trainee who has been trained and certified by the Academy emerges as a star horseman in his respective area of work.

 

STAR is open to Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents only.

The STAR Programme (Stable Groom) is a 2 month training programme. New intake will commence on the 1st working day of every month.
