SINGAPORE CHILDREN'S SOCIETY - Walk for Our Children 2015

​Singapore Turf Club’s mascots Racer and Clover were proud to be part of Singapore Children's Society walkathon held on Sunday, 6 September 2015. Aptly themed Celebrating Childhood! Our Memories, Our Aspirations, the annual fund-raising walkathon attracted closed to 6,000 participants and raised about $800,000.
Guest-of-Honour Mr Lim Hng Kiang, Minister for Trade and Industry, flagged off the event and joined in the 3-km walk along Sentosa’s Palawan Beach. A unique highlight of the walk was the organized assembly of over 20 mascots from various corporations which graced the event, creating memorable photo moments to many present. All proceeds raised will help further the Society’s mission of bringing relief and happiness to children in need.

KRETA AYER-KIM SENG CITIZENS' CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE - Mid-Autumn Festival 2015

For the fifth consecutive year, Singapore Turf Club (STC) supported the Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Painting Competition organised by Kreta Ayer-Kim Seng Citizens’ Consultative Committee (KA-KSCCC). This was part of the festival’s community outreach initiatives, and was a much anticipated event among the youth population who participated in the competition held on Sunday, 6 September 2015 at Chinatown Point. About 180 of the best lantern works were put up on display at Chinatown’s famous “Food Street” (Smith Street) throughout the month-long Mid-Autumn festival from 6 - 27 September.

PAP COMMUNITY FOUNDATION - Lee Hsien Loong Cup Charity Golf Tournament 2015

Lee Hsien Loong Cup Charity Golf Tournament 2015 organised by Pap Community Foundation (PCF) was held at the Tanah Merah Country Club, Garden Course. 120 golfers took part in the event and a total of $1.38 million was raised. Eighty percent of the funds raised will be used to fund various activities and programmes at Ang Mo Kio GRC and Sengkang West SMC, such as helping needy students in PCF kindergartens and supporting Youth and Senior Citizens’ activities.
