The Singapore Racecourse is designed for champions and ranks among the premier racecourses in the world. "Live" races are held in Singapore on selected Friday nights (1st race: 6.30pm), Saturday afternoons and Sunday afternoons (1st race: 1.45pm). On Saturdays and Sundays where "live" Singapore races are not scheduled, MRA races from Malaysia are televised "live" to the racecourse.

The Club also operates the totalisator for betting on Hong Kong and South Africa races on Wednesday nights. On Saturday and Sunday afternoons when races are "live" in Singapore/Malaysia, the Club also operates the totalisator on selected races from Hong Kong Jockey Club and Western Australian Turf Club

Grandstand Lower Grandstand Upper Granstand

The Grandstand is the architectural centrepiece of the racecourse, with a unique roof structure inspired by the graceful and powerful image of a horse in motion The four storey building has the following sections: Lower Grandstand (Level 1) Lotus Room for lessees and invited guest only. Entrance to the room is via the Lotus Lounge at the Upper Grandstand. Non-air-conditioned area for public. Upper Grandstand (Level 2) Gold Card Room for privilege Cardholders and guests only. Air-conditioned area for public. Club Level (Level 3) Owner's Lounge for owners and guests only. @Hibiscus for the social and casual racegoers - young professionals, ladies and international visitors. Committee Level (Level 4) Committee Box for Committee Members, Club Officials and invited guest only. Casuarina Room for lessees and invited guests only. Corporate Boxes for lessees and invited guests only. Bukit & Orchid Boxes for lessees and invited guests only.

Automated Patron Entry System

Admission to the racecourse is via an automated Patron Entry System. Racegoers have a choice of buying either single entry tickets or stored value cards.

Large Outdoor Screens and Video Screens

Close-up views of races on the large outdoor screen and the many video screens and closed-circuit television monitors located at all levels.

Parade Ring

Special fabric canopies shade racegoers from the weather as they enjoy unobstructed views of the horses on parade. There is also a large outdoor screen so those at the Parade Ring can watch the races from there.

Horsewalk

Horses enter the main track via a unique glass-sided horsewalk that links the parade ring to the tracks.

Food and Beverage Facilities

Three foodcourts located within the Grandstand - two on the Lower Grandstand and one on the Upper Grandstand. Stalls sell local favourites such as Laksa, Chicken Rice and Local Desserts. In addition, there are snack and drink kiosks as well as news vendors. On the Club level, racegoers have a choice of sit-down dining or self-service snack counters.

Owner's Lounge and Restaurant

Seating capacity of 1,300, with lounge and table seating. Excellent view of the racetrack, and features full-service bar, restaurant, cigar lounge and counters to handle high-value bets. Restaurant, with casual-chic theme, can accommodate 200. Offers a wide variety of Western and local culinary delights from four open-kitchen concept areas with counter seating. Hugh lights suspended from the ceiling give the area a cosy ambience. More dining privacy available in any of the three glass-canapoied areas within the restaurant.

@Hibiscus			Located next to the Owner's Lounge on Level 3 of the Grandstand. Seating capacity of 250 with lounge and table seating, boasts an excellent view of the racetrack, a full-service bar, private betting counters. Designed to appeal to the younger casual racegoers. Guests can gain access to a casual-chic restaurant, located at Owners' Lounge, which offers a wide variety of Western and Local culinary delights. Buffet can be arranged for group bookings. Bukit/Orchid Box			The exclusive Bukit / Orchid Box located at level 4 of the Grandstand offers a spectacular view of the racecourse and the winning post. It comes fully air-conditioned and equipped with plasma TV monitors. Guests can be entertained, wine, dine and watch the thrilling races in comfort and style. Food and beverages is provided by our in-house caterer, Mount Pleasant. We provide a selection of Western and Local culinary delights according to your budget. Seating Capacity: 50 persons each box. Gold Card Room

The Gold Card Room, with its cosy ambience, is specially set aside for Racing Gold Cardholders and guests. It can house 1,800 patrons. Situated at level 2 of the Grandstand, it will bring you closer to the action at the tracks and it is the best place to feel the sensation of racing. Additional features include plush carpeting, clear coverage of every race on our plasma screens, ample betting counters. Buffet can be arranged for group bookings (min 30 pax). Racing Gold Card Scheme Various Racing Gold Card schemes are available and subscription fee starts from $550.

Lotus Room

Located adjacent to the Winning Post, this floor-to-ceiling glass-paneled building offers you the opportunity to witness the victorious moments of the winning horses and listen to the roar of cheers from the Grandstand. It is fully air-conditioned, equipped with betting booths and closed circuit TV monitors, a private bar and a lounge area for pre-dinner cocktails. Guests can be entertained, wine, dine and watch the thrilling races. This room is rented for corporate functions, seminars, anniversaries, wedding banquets etc. Seating capacity:130 to 150 persons Package price starts from $40 per person for a minimum of 80 persons (price inclusive of room rental and buffet).

Casuarina Room

This splendid room offers a spectacular view of the racecourse and is reserved for sponsors and also rented for corporate functions or seminars, wedding banquets etc. It is fully air conditioned, equipped with betting booths, closed-circuit TV monitors and a private bar. Guests can be entertained, wine, dine and watch the thrilling races in comfort and style. Food and beverages is provided by in-house caterer, Mount Pleasant and offers a selection of Western & Local culinary delights. Seating Capacity : 100 to 120 persons Package price starts from $50 per person for a minimum of 50 persons (price inclusive of room rental and buffet).

Corporate Boxes

There are 14 elegant corporate boxes for rent. All boxes have excellent views of the race track and come complete with television monitors for a close-up view of the races. Each box can accommodate a maximum of 16 guests. Catering for lunch, high tea, dinner and a la carte are available.
